Get Involved in AGS Board and Committee Work
Apply for Service on AGS Standing Committees
AGS invites members to apply for membership on our Clinical Practice and Models of Care, Education, Ethics, Ethnogeriatrics, Health Systems Innovation-Economics & Technology, Public Education, Public Policy, Quality and Performance Measurement, and Research Committees.
Appointments will be made next spring and terms will begin during 2012 Annual Meeting. These appointments are three-year renewable terms.
Serve on the AGS Board
AGS is accepting nominations for the AGS Board of Directors. AGS Board members guide the Society so that its programs and policies serve the needs of our members. Nominees should be members in good standing of the Society and the nominations package must include a letter of support from a past Board member. Board terms will begin immediately following the Business Meeting during the 2012 Annual Meeting These appointments are threeyear renewable terms.
Become a Member of the AGS Nominating Committee
The Nominating Committee considers nominations to the AGS Board and also identifies those Board members who will become officers of the Society. Terms begin immediately following the AGS Business Meeting during the 2012 Annual Meeting.
