Call for Nominations to the AGS Nominating Committee
The AGS is now accepting nominations for three-year terms on the AGS Nominating Committee. These terms will commence in May 2013. Nominees must be members in good standing of the society. Nominations packages are due in the AGS office by October 1, 2012.
The Nominating Committee meets once a year in November and considers the following:
- New Board Member Nominations
- Board Member Nominations for a 2nd term
- Officer Nominations
- Nominating Committee Nominations
Nominations for the Nominating Committee are accepted:
- By current AGS Member – CLICK HERE TO NOMINATE SOMEONE
- By self-nomination – CLICK HERE TO SELF-NOMINATE
A Complete Nominations Package consists of:
- A completed “Nominating Committee Recommendation” ( or “Nominating Committee Service Form” for a self-nomination) to be completed by Nominee
- Two letters of support from current AGS Board and/or Committee members.
- A 2-page biographical sketch or short curriculum vitae
