Budget Guidelines

At BUMC, the CRIT retreat is held at an upscale resort in Maine and families are invited (much like ADGAP's Leadership Retreat). All participant expenses are paid, including travel expenses to attend the meeting. ) We anticipate that direct expenses for a similar-sized retreat held at a nicer resort will be between $25,000 and $30,000, inclusive of production of materials. We encourage applicant institutions to budget for a resort location within driving distance of their own institution when developing their annual budgets. The remainder of the grant should be budgeted to provide salary support for the PI and Co-PI, stipends for any additional faculty, and salary support for an administrative lead for the retreat.
