Selection Criteria

The Selection Committee will select participants on the basis of the following criteria:

• Eligibility as described on this website
• Quality of candidate and potential for national leadership beyond geriatrics, as evidenced by prior academic geriatrics experience and letters of reference
• Quality of the individual career development plan
• Commitment to the future of geriatrics, including mentoring future leaders in the field

Speak with the Program Directors
We can arrange for potential scholars to speak with one of the Senior Leadership Scholars Program Directors to learn more about the program.
