Point/Counterpoint: The Older Man and the Prostate Cancer Conundrum
This panel will address the case of Mr. HN who is a 74 year old male who presents for his routine annual visit. He now lists new complaints of increasing lower back pain which is generally relieved by non steroidal anti-inflammatory medications. Attendees will learn the controversies and choices about screening for and treating prostate cancer, as well as how patient preferences can influence those choices.
