Rebranding Geriatrics
Thursday, May 2 from 7:00 – 8:30 PM in room Texas 1
Too many people – patients, colleagues, trainees, health system leaders, policymakers – don’t fully understand or appreciate what geriatrics is and what it has to offer. At this special session, a group of geriatrics health professionals from across the country will present and discuss the results of six months of work toward rebranding geriatrics. Our goal is to create a clear, accessible, and appealing identity for geriatrics and geriatrics health professionals. Come learn about this national effort and the set of messages and tools that will help all of us communicate more effectively about our field and work.
