The Gaylord Texan Hotel & Convention Center is the headquarters for the 2013 AGS Annual Scientific Meeting and our educational program, exhibits, and networking events will all take place here.  Brimming with authentic Texas style and hospitality, the awe-inspiring Gaylord Texan Hotel and Convention Center overlooks beautiful Lake Grapevine and is just six minutes from the Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport and the historic and quaint city of Grapevine, TX. This family-friendly hotel and vacation destination is also home to Paradise Springs. From the 600-foot winding lazy river, family lagoon with 27-foot tall waterslide to the hot pools and dedicated toddler pool, there is something for everyone. There are also a wide variety of dynamic culinary experiences at the Gaylord Texan. Whether you want romantic dinner, a casual evening with friends or a chance to kick up your heels, you'll find just the right place at the Gaylord Texan.

Attendees can book their room reservations at the Gaylord Texan now. We have negotiated special rates for our attendees of $235 plus a $10 resort fee. The AGS rate includes the following resort amenities on a complimentary basis: Wired and wireless high speed internet access in your room, daily newspaper, bottled water in your room, fitness center access, and local and toll free 800 telephone calls and admission to Paradise Springs. The discounted hotel rate is subject to state and local tax. A limited number of rooms are available on a first-come, first-served basis. These groups rates will be available until rooms are gone OR until April 15. You must identify yourself as an AGS meeting attendee in order to obtain the group rate. 

The Gaylord Texan is the only hotel that AGS has contracted with for the 2013 annual meeting. There are no other hotels within walking distance of the Gaylord Texan. AGS does not provide shuttle service to other area hotels.
