Bringing Home the Care Continuum: Harnessing High Tech, High Touch Home Care Medicine
AAHCP Annual Scientific and Practice Management Meeting

Objectives:

  1. Participants will understand the health policy, health economic, epidemiologic, and demographic trends that impact home medical care.
  2. Participants will better understand how to successfully manage a home medical care practice from the logistical, quality, and financial perspectives.
  3. Participants will understand “state of the art” diagnosis and treatment of commonly encountered clinical scenarios in home medical care.
  4. Participants will have opportunities for focused learning in “niche” areas such as home care education, research, and alternative practice settings.
