Aging and Money: Geriatric Assessment and Preventing Financial Exploitation

The purpose of this symposium is to increase recognition of risk factors for financial exploitation in the clinical setting utilizing already accepted standards for geriatric assessment, improve the quality of documentation of these risk factors, and realize the benefits of implementing such standards of documentation in the investigation and prosecution of cases of financial exploitation.
