THE COUNCIL FOR HEALTH EDUCATION AND DEVELOPMENT, LLC (CFHED) “CAREGIVER TRAINING PROGRAMS” provide training and products in several areas of healthcare for new and old caregivers. CFHED, located in the Houston, Texas area, has trained over 1,000 caregivers through their classes that provide actual, practical care training and immediate stress relief to caregivers. Those individuals in need of services who cannot easily attend a scheduled class or are remotely located, can be provided a stand-alone caregiver learning video/DVD entitled, “The Practical Caregiver.” CFHED is now in the process of placing caregiver training classes online through their new “Distance Learning & Telemedicine Program.” To learn more information on all classes, available services, and basic facts about some of the most frequent caregiver situations occurring in our population, please visit www.caregivertraining.org. You can also contact Tom Zaubi, CFHED Director of Business Development and Marketing with any question.
