In May 2000, the Board approved the following process to address performance concerns with committee chair/vice chair:
- Staff or committee member should bring issue(s) to CLAAG member (CLAAG member should be cc'd on all issue(s)/communications with Chair/Vice Chair.)
- The CLAAG representative then discusses with the committee chair/vice chair the concerns, and develops a plan of action as needed, i.e.:
a) Specific changes in activities to respond to the concern
b) Timeline for completion of changes
- CLAAG reports to the Executive Committee the outcome of the performance improvement plan at the assigned time.
- CLAAG recommends action to be taken to the President.
