Committee Chair/Vice Chair Performance and Review

In May 2000, the Board approved the following process to address performance concerns with committee chair/vice chair:

  1. Staff or committee member should bring issue(s) to CLAAG member (CLAAG member should be cc'd on all issue(s)/communications with Chair/Vice Chair.)
  2. The CLAAG representative then discusses with the committee chair/vice chair the concerns, and develops a plan of action as needed, i.e.:
            a) Specific changes in activities to respond to the concern
            b) Timeline for completion of changes
  3. CLAAG reports to the Executive Committee the outcome of the performance improvement plan at the assigned time.
  4. CLAAG recommends action to be taken to the President.
