Proposals Sought for VA Centers of Excellence
August 31st, 2010
The Office of Academic Affiliations (OAA) is soliciting proposals to establish VA Centers of Excellence in Primary Care Education. The Centers are designed to foster the transformation of clinical education by preparing graduates of health professional schools and programs to work in and lead patient-centered interprofessional teams providing coordinated longitudinal care. Though general medicine and women’s health clinics will be the primary focus, primary care geriatrics clinics with strong justification may be considered; other subspecialty practices are excluded from consideration.
