CALL FOR PROPOSALS: 2012 Chief Resident Immersion Training (CRIT) Program In the Care of Older Adults [Deadline: March 12, 2012]

January 27th, 2012

The Association of Directors of Geriatric Academic Programs (ADGAP), in collaboration with Boston University Medical Center (BUMC), is pleased to announce that it is now accepting proposals for the 2012 Chief Resident Immersion Training (CRIT) Program in the Care of Older Adults. The CRIT program, currently funded by the Hearst Foundations and the Donald W. Reynolds Foundation, is based on BUMC’s model program, which provides Chief Residents with a combination of training in geriatrics care and leadership and teaching skills.

Ten CRIT grants will be awarded in 2012—more than in any previous cohort. Selected applicants will receive two-year grants of $73,500 to offer the CRIT program at their own institutions. Please click here for details
