CME Credit Hours
The American Geriatrics Society (AGS) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to sponsor continuing medical education (CME) for physicians.

Participating in the GRS5 program can earn you Continuing Education Credits!

  • The GRS has been reviewed and acceptable for 75 Prescribed Hours by the American Academy of Family Physicians
  • The American Osteopathic Association has determined that the GRS is eligible for 75 hours in Category 2-B of CME
  • The AGS, as an accredited organization, designates 75 credit hours of category I toward the American Medical Association Physician's Recognition Award (PRA)
  • New York State Nurses Association has reviewed and accepted the GRS for 56 nursing contact hours (Provider No.4ZDHCM-01) until October 2003.

Learning Objectives

  • Adjust patient care in the light of evidence-based data regarding the particular risks and needs of ethnic, racial, and sexual patient groups; and
