Hotel Reservation Information The Hyatt Regency Chicago is the headquarters for the 2006 AGS Annual Scientific Meeting. Reservations can be made by calling the hotel directly at (800) 233-1234 and identifying yourself as an AGS attendee. A deposit of first night's room and tax is required to guarantee a reservation. Special group rates of $174 single and $195 double occupancy per night (+ tax) have been negotiated for AGS attendees. A limited number of rooms are available on a first-come, first-serve basis until rooms are gone OR until April 11th. After that, reservations will be accepted on a space and availability basis. Rooms are also available at the Swisshotel Chicago, which is located next to the Hyatt Regency Hotel at 323 Wacker Drive, Chicago, IL. The two hotels are connected at the concourse level. Reservations can be made by calling the hotel at (312) 565-0565. Special group rates of $219/night + tax have been negotiated for AGS attendees. Airport Shuttle Information Continental Airport Express offers daily shuttle service from O'Hare International Airport to downtown Chicago and north suburban locations from 6:00 am to 11:30 pm. Departures are every 5 to 10 minutes. The fare to the city is approximately $24. The information counter and pickup site is located in the baggage claims area of Terminal 1, 2, and 3, and outside U.S. Customs in Terminal 5. To contact Continental Airport Express, call (773) 247-1200 or (800) 654-7871. Taxicabs are available on a first-come, first-serve basis from the lower level curb front of all terminals. Shared ride service is available. There are no flat rates - all taxicabs run on meters. Expect to spend approximately $35 to $40 for a taxicab ride to downtown Chicago.
