This week, we launched the 2026 AGS/ADGAP Benchmarking Survey to collect data from 2025. Geriatrician members should have received an email invitation from AGS with instructions on how to complete the survey. We hope you will support this year’s effort – your participation is essential to continue building this robust dataset that we can all use to better understand the value of geriatricians with real-world data.
Log in with your AGS credentials here.
Once completed, you will have immediate access to the updated, aggregated, and anonymous geriatrician data through Phairify’s Physician Value Exchange: Career & Specialty Data Platform rich with key metrics and market intelligence to help you take control of your career. Visit the Geriatrics Compensation, Productivity Benchmarking Tool webpage for additional information and resources to help you prepare and complete the survey should you need it.
Remember, the more AGS/ADGAP members complete the survey, the more meaningful the data. Check out the AGS 2026 Q1 Newsletter for a snapshot of the data from last year.
If you have any questions or if you did not receive the survey invitation, please contact Anna Kim at akim@americangeriatrics.org.

Appropriations season is in full swing and we are grateful to our members who are calling their elected representatives to educate them about the importance of the National Institute on Aging (NIA), the Geriatrics Health Professions Programs, and the Veterans Affairs to our collective health and well-being as we age. We are asking our members to call about funding for the NIA. Now is the time to make your voice heard about the issues that you care deeply about. Click HERE and phone your members of Congress TODAY!
Help shape the 2027 AGS Virtual Annual Meeting - sign up to review annual meeting proposal submissions. The Program Committee strives to increase both the size and diversity of the pool of reviewers to ensure that the AGS proposal review process benefits by receiving broad input from a variety of different perspectives. You can help by volunteering to review proposals in your area of expertise.
To become a proposal reviewer, you will be asked to identify your areas of expertise and indicate which categories you are interested in reviewing. If you are selected as a reviewer, AGS will ask you to review and provide feedback on approximately 20 proposals. The review period will begin on July 6 and all reviews must be completed by July 31.
