Opportunity Description:

Are you an early-stage investigator, junior faculty, or a faculty member aiming to become an independent investigator in the science of aging? Then it’s time to apply for the 2023 Butler-Williams (B-W) Scholars Program, an exciting opportunity to develop research skills and plug into a powerful national network.

The program is designed to facilitate a broader understanding of NIA-supported science, refine grant writing skills, and energize professional networks. The intensive B-W experience is tailored for researchers pursuing a career development award or their first R01. It’s also the perfect fit for early-stage scientists who may have more advanced skills in a different field but are interested in growing an independent career in aging research.

The 2023 B-W Scholars Program will be held virtually August 23-25. Interested investigators must apply by the April 21 deadline. Participation is free for successful applicants.
