Opportunity Description:

The National Institute on Aging has issued a Request for Applications (RFA):  RFA-AG-25-016: Multi-Scale Models Bridging Levels of Analysis in Aging and Alzheimer’s Disease (AD) and AD-Related Dementias (ADRD) (R01 Clinical Trial Not Allowed).  This RFA invites applications proposing to establish multi-scale computational models recapitulating dynamic changes associated with aging and Alzheimer’s disease (AD) and AD-related dementias (ADRD). This broad scope encompasses a variety of computational approaches—such as mathematical and computational modeling, image analysis, artificial intelligence, and machine learning—to better understand aging processes and AD/ADRD across molecules, cells and networks, and cognition and behavior.

A letter of intent is requested by May 13, 2024 and the application due date is June 13, 2024.
