The Next STEPs innovative Experiential Learning Program matches interested researchers with nursing homes for day-long immersive learning experiences. The goal is to help researchers gain insights that will lead to projects tailored to industry realities and needs.
Who it’s for: For researchers preparing to conduct projects with nursing homes, and for nursing homes interested in hosting researchers to develop partnerships.
Purpose: To encourage research aligned with nursing home workflows and priorities through a structured experience that helps researchers better understand real-world care delivery.
Format: Researchers complete five independent learning modules as pre‑work before participating in a full day of experiential learning at the host nursing home.
