The Next STEPs innovative Experiential Learning Program is designed to match interested researchers with nursing homes for an immersive learning experience to help researchers gain insights that will support study design tailored for the realities of the center setting.

Who it’s for: Researchers transitioning to nursing home research. 

Purpose: Structured, supported entry into nursing home care to familiarize researchers with workflows, staff roles, and resident needs. 

Format: Five independent learning modules plus one day of experiential learning on site at a local nursing home
