Opportunity Description:
The Vilcek-Gold Award for Humanism in Healthcare honors a foreign-born individual who has made an extraordinary impact on humanism in U.S. healthcare. The award, which comes with a $10,000 prize, is presented at the (Association of American Medical Colleges) AAMC’s Annual Meeting.
Past honorees include U.S. Surgeon General Dr. Vivek Murthy and Flint water crisis whistleblower Dr. Mona Hanna-Attisha.
The nomination period for the 2022 Vilcek-Gold Award is open from November 9, 2021 through January 24, 2022, at 5:00 p.m. EST.
